What in the hell is the real meaning of being free?

What it means to you may be very different for me

Oh, of course we all think of the USA as being free

Saying what we think is great for folks like you and me

Going to the church of our choice is also a part of the deal

Do the things that our government allow, make freedom real?

Do I really have the right not to wear a helmet or a seat belt?

I guess I have to, it’s best for me, my government felt

Should anyone take my time that is allotted to me and my ride?

I need my space, don’t try to invade it and destroy my Biker pride

Maybe I should love you and spend my entire time making you mine

I’m sorry baby; I need to spend time making my Harley Davidson shine

I have found that life is full of things that tend to make me sad and frown

Love, marriage, and all those things are just a part of life that bring you down

I need to live my life letting my spirit and soul just go on worrying about me

You want a secure life so forget about me. I’ll ride alone, I need to be free
